How to Achieve Wrinkle-Free Skin Care

Well, the first step to wrinkle free skin care is small changes to your diet and skin care regimen, and a bit more knowledge about what different foods can do for you.

First of all, Eggs are a fantastic source of Protein. Protein triggers a natural increase of collagen in the body, which is found in various amounts in our skin. It’s basically a connective tissue that keeps the skin firm and supple, helping to prevent wrinkles and sagging of the face. You can use raw eggs as part of your skin care regimen, by mixing the yolk and the whites together, and then applying to your face. If you leave it to set for 5-10 minutes, and then wash off with a warm wash cloth, you’ll soon see the benefits!

As well as this, eggs have been known to enhance hair volume and prevent split ends by being used raw as a conditioner alternative, so it’s perfect for those of you out there who have fine hair or a receding hair line.

Green tea is common, as more and more people are drinking it these days. Many people prefer to drink coffee, but a lot of people, including myself, love tea, especially the perks it has to offer our skin, when we reuse the tea bag. If you want to try this, it’s very simple. All you need to do is take a bowl of cool water, soak the tea bag in the bowl, and then wash your face with the water. It’s that easy! If you do this regularly, it can be of the the best anti aging skin care products. Green tea functions as a suppressant for the production of excessive sebum secretion, which is a cause for acne.

As a nation, we don’t eat enough berries! Few of us know what properties they have to offer us. Berries are often dubbed as ‘the Super Food’. Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, they’re all great for you. Eating at least half a cup a day can benefit your skin, and keep your skin cells healthy. If you’re not really into eating berries, there are alternatives such as Smoothies. By mixing a cup of water or milk with a cup of berries, you’re already on your way! If you want to add a gorgeous glow to your skin, then I recommend throwing in a couple of tablespoons of flaxseed oil, or a spot of protein powder for that morning boost! Apart from that, just throw in some ice and a spot of sugar and you’re sorted! Not only is it super good for you, it tastes great, and it takes about 5 minutes to make. Genius!

Pomegranates are amazing. Not only do they look appetizing with their ruby red appeal, but they also smell great! And now there’s a reason to fit more of them into your diet (if you aren’t already convinced!). Pomegranates are great for your skin care regimen, whether applied externally or eaten. It’s also loaded with essential amino acids, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, and other antioxidants.  It’s also inexpensive and helps prolong the life of skins cells, therefore, helping to repair and restore your skins ability to heal faster, and works towards reducing the signs of aging.

Alternatively, you can apply the juice all over your face for half an hour, and rinse with plain water for a gorgeous rosy glow!
