Is There A Fix For Large Pores!
There is no permanent fix for large pores so any product that says it can shrink large pores is not entirely accurate. What some types of products may do (those containing some astringents) is reduce the "appearance" of large pores.
Large pores are usually hereditary. It is more common with those who have thicker oily skin. I would say the best thing to do is the keep the skin clean by using a gentle facial cleanser with no harsh detergents and then regular exfoliation.
Exfoliation will help keep the pores clean by removing excess oil, dirt and bacteria. This can result in smaller looking pores. Glycolic acid (used a few times per week) in a non-greasy formulation can certainly help with this. For oily skin types, I would recommend using an oil free product. Some at-home treatments could include using a masque with honey. Just apply and leave on for about 15-20 minutes, then rinse. You could even add sugar to it to give it some mild exfoliation properties.
Another option is microdermabrasion at the Dermatologist’s office.
