5 Ways To Avoid Aging, Acne, and Anthing Other Than Flawless Skin!

Face with splash of waterStop overanalyzing your face in the mirror and picking at every imperfection and simply nip it in the butt already!

  • Oily skin- So you would think to fight your pesky, oily skin with its arch nemesis, right? Wrong! Fight it with itself. That’s right, oil dissolves oil. So use a gentle, oil-base product or clay mask.
  • Wrinkles- A woman’s worst nightmare! So let’s avoid it while we can, by investing in a really good pair of sunglasses. But, let’s say the damage is already done; look for eye creams with peptides. Peptides stimulate collagen and restore the skin’s moisture barrier.
  • Blackheads- These bad boys can be the hardest to get rid of! If you don’t want to go buy pore strips, or have tried them and had no luck, try this DIY mix instead: mix one part water with two parts baking soda and apply to problem area. Let your concoction dry for 10 minutes before rinsing off.
  • Swollen eyes- Ok, let’s admit it, how we look when we wake up can already be scary enough sometimes, now add in a puff-pillow effect around my eyes? Not fair! But wait, unlike wrinkles, its reversible. Caffeine usually does the trick, relieving the water retention, but, if not, lie on your back with your feet in the air for 20 minutes with a damp, green tea bag over each eye and tell me that didn’t just work wonders!

Zits- Nothing ruins a good date night or day at the office like a huge red pimple on your face. Something like that comes up, and you need to get rid of it, fast! Try to stay consistent with your skin care on a daily basis to avoid this, but, if you need a quick fix, mix benzoyl peroxide and hydrocortisone and place a drop of it on blemish to zap away!
