It seems that the older I get, the more I think about my health and what’s the best exercise for weight loss. I’ve learned that along with eating healthy food, there are small things I can also do. Here are a few I came up with:
Pack a lunch for work – instead of eating restaurant food that doesn’t offer whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.- Use the stairs instead of the elevator.
- Carry items, i.e. book bags, groceries, etc., to build strength.
- Walk, jog, or skip instead of driving (wherever you can).
- Make chores your chance to be active.
- Get off the bus a few stops early and walk.
- Park the car as far away from the entrance as possible.
