Your nighttime facial skin care regimen is probably the most important thing you can do for your skin because this is when your skin rejuvenates itself, so you want to be sure you are using the right products for your skin type.
Here are what the experts say:
Combination Skin- Retinol’s key ingredient, vitamin A, helps decrease oil production (which means your shiny areas will benefit). Since retinol can be drying, choose a cream instead of a gel and top your cheeks with a regular moisturizer as needed.
Oily Skin- If you’re battling breakouts and wrinkles at the same time, retinols do triple duty – they keep acne in check, fade pigmentation, and plump up lines and creases. Since retinols are slightly irritating, you may want to dial back on products with other antiacne ingredients, such as alpha hydroxy acids.
Dry Skin – Look for a product with a thicker, creamier texture to hydrate skin overnight. If the product contains vitamin A (which can irritate dry skin), apply it every other night and top with a moisturizer.
Sensitive Skin- Most people can tolerate vitamin A but those with sensitive skin may need to find a gentler alternative. Treatments with antioxidants such as coenzyme Q10, idebenone, and vitamin C can help prevent wrinkles.
All this being said, I have been using NutriMinC anti aging skin care products for years and wouldn’t use anything else. These products are all-natural (to the best of science and nature), botanically based, and adapt to any skin type.
