Can You Reverse Hair Loss?
I recently decided to lose weight for health reasons, which I did successfully. However, the downside was my hair started falling out. I know they say that’s a side effect of menopause but there’s really more to it. Let’s find out.
First, I realized I was taking a daily vitamin that had iron in it. Well, after menopause, iron is a no-no. Also, one of the side effects of taking iron after menopause is – you guessed it – hair loss! So, I immediately changed vitamins to one that does not contain iron.
Second, I lost a total of 45 pounds (and, thankfully, have kept it off) but, as I found out the hard way, that’s also a reason for hair loss.
So, even though I have totally changed my eating habits, I’m not on a diet anymore and after changing my daily vitamin, within 2 months my hair started getting thicker again and, now, it’s back to normal.
Let’s look at some more reasons for hair loss and what you can do:
