In a recent blog I wrote “Jennifer Lopez Beauty Secrets – Information You Can Trust”, I talked about Jennifer’s skin care secrets, which I will briefly describe below:

  • Stay out of the sun, however, if you are going to be in the sun, make sure you use sunscreen. Jennifer admits that doing so has saved her skin from the bad effects of sunlight.
  • J Lo uses a face cream that is made from rose petals and avocado base, which helps in protecting the skin from excessive irritation and dryness. The cooling effect of the rose petals is a great help in retaining the moisture of the skin and also in providing a perfect base for the makeup.
  • Apart from this, she recommends a proper diet with lots of proteins and regular hydration for a beautiful skin. Drinking lot of water maintains the moisture of the skin and helps in delaying aging.

When she gets the opportunity, Jennifer works out for approximately 60-90 minutes daily.

  • Dancing– Jennifer is a natural dancer. She recognizes that dancing involves all the muscular functions in the human body, thus making it a perfect full-body workout.
  • Yoga– Jenifer’s daily commitments are probably stressful enough to take a toll on her physically and mentally. Yoga is a perfect way to relieve stress on both the mind and body.
  • Cardio Exercises– Cardio exercises are very grueling to the average person. It makes you quit before the cardio does. Jennifer likes to mix it up to avoid the boredom of remaining on one station. She transitions to five cardio machines at 5-minute intervals (treadmill, elliptical trainer, stationary bike, rowing machine, and stair stepper).
  • Weight Training– Jennifer isn’t crazy about lifting weights that might ruin her feminine curves. Her objective is to have a fully functional body, and strength is a major component in physical activities.
    • Squats – 3 x 8-12 reps
    • Lunges – 3 x 8-12 reps
    • Hip Extension – 3 x 8-12 reps
    • Leg Raise – 3 x 10 reps
    • Core Exercises on a Stability Ball – 3 x 10 reps
