We’ll admit it: we have fond memories of crimping our hair in the late 1980s. The look went perfectly with scrunch socks and oversize neon T-shirts, obviously!

Since then, though, our crimping irons have been safely tucked away — but the same can’t be said for Maria Menounos. The TV hostess and Dancing with the Stars contestant partied with dance partner Derek Hough in Los Angeles recently, and fully embraced the hairstyle, crimping her long brunette locks from top to bottom.

Though current hair trends lean more toward those beachy, just-got-out-of-bed waves, we think Menounos may actually pull this one off. But what do you think? Are you loving her look?
