4 DIY Remedies To Relieve Dark Circles Under Your Eyes
Dark under-eye circles and puffy eyes not only make you look tired, but can make you appear older than you are. There are a variety of reasons why this occurs: stress, lack of sleep, looking at a computer all day, and watching television – our eyes are constantly being strained!
When under-eye circles and puffiness appear, women instantly think that they need to reach for costly products. As I am a big fan of home remedies, I say look no further than your pantry and refrigerator. There are various DIY home remedies to use before wasting money on over promising products. Below I have listed a few simple DIY remedies that I use:
Teabags – Brew two caffeinated teabags and remove teabags from brewed tea. Then place teabags into the freezer for thirty minutes. Once teabags are chilled, remove from the freezer. Now it’s time to relax. Lie down and place one teabag over each eyelid for 20 minutes.
Cucumbers – Slice two pieces of cucumber, lie down, and place cucumber slices over eyelids. Relax for 15 minutes and then remove cucumbers.
Milk – Pour cold milk into a bowl. Take two cotton balls and soak them in the cold milk. Sit back and relax by placing cotton balls over eyelids. Remove after 15 minutes.
Cold Spoons – Take two spoons and place them in the freezer until they are cold. Lie back and place the spoons over your eyelids for 15 minutes then remove. You will feel refreshed in no time!
