1 cup spinach (other greens such as swish chard or kale maybe mixed in or used also)

1 pear, 1 apple, 1/2 banana, 2-3 dates and 1 cup of water.

Roasted vegetables are another way to add lots of nutrition to your body. You can roast so much more than peppers, all the roots, parsnips, turnips, sweet potatoes, red beets, carrots. Variety helps our bodies get more nutrition so discovering new foods is essential. Broccoli, cauliflower, onions, the list is large. Toss in olive or grape seed oil, not too much just a light coating and roast for 20 minutes. This is an excellent way to add more vegetables and variety to your day. Including new, seasonal and maybe food you are not familiar with adds such interest, texture and taste to satisfy you.
