Reach Your Goal Weight With A Tummy Tuck?

Tummy TuckHave you ever considered a tummy tuck?  If so, here’s some great insight from a woman, Kim Gregson, who has actually lived through the experience.  Kim says “Patience and time is required when healing.”

Here's Kim's Story

I am a 47 year old mother who decided to take her body back.  I did so with a 76 pound weight loss, tummy tuck, liposuction, breast lift and reduction.  My passion is to educate and support women going through this process.  I have helped hundreds of women through their process of planning, guilt, and recovery.

Tummy Tuck Recovery

This is a long healing process and you are going to need help for the first week or so.  You will ride an emotional roller coaster, discover what I call “Swell Hell” and wonder what the hell you did to your body.  You will not be up and running in two weeks so wipe that thought right out of your head.  Keep telling yourself that you are going to heal and will love your new body in the end.  It is totally worth everything you go through.

You must be patient and allow your body to heal properly.  Accept the help others offer and don’t be a hero.  You will be tired and swollen for several weeks so plan accordingly.  Make sure you have at least three weeks off work.  You will need it!  Keep your eye on the prize and know that you are worth this.  Doing something to improve your self-esteem and happiness is wonderful.  Be proud, keep your chin up, find yourself a positive support outlet, and stay away from the negative talkers.
