Build slowly, eliminating one bad habit at a time. Trying to do too much at once feels like a diet to the body, and the body AND mind will rebel. An added bonus: it’s easier to focus on one change at a time.

Be patient when creating new healthy habits!

Habits are engrained behaviors formed by repetition. Each one might take a different length of time. That’s OK. Be patient. Recognize that building a positive habit will serve your health forever. It took me a couple of years before exercise felt as automatic as
brushing my teeth, which is a great way to look at it!
