Black Velvet
Peter Joseph, author of the forthcoming book Boozy Brunch: The Quintessential Guide to
Daytime Drinking explains, “Guinness may be the traditional St. Patrick’s Day drink,
but for something a little lighter your readers should remember the Black Velvet.”
Just pour first 4 oz of Guinness stout followed by 4 oz champagne into a collins glass, and gentle stir. It’s normally a morning cocktail, but it seems like a nice alternative to whiskey or a pint.
The Irish Rose
Luxor and Excalibur are getting in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with a specialty cocktail available only on March 17 at TENDER Steak & Seafood’s Lounge, Liquidity, Aurora, Flight, Octane and The Lounge.
The Irish Rose was carefully crafted to capture the essence of the holiday and presents a new and unique way to enjoy Irish whiskey.

1oz Irish Whiskey
1oz lime juice
6oz ginger ale
Served over ice.
