Caribbean Style Black Beans Recipe

1 can (16 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup tomato juice

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon green pepper flakes
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1/2 teaspoon dried minced garlic


In small saucepan over medium heat, combine beans, tomato juice, cilantro, green pepper flakes, onion and garlic.

Cook 10 minutes or until heated throughout.


Serves: 4 (1/3 cup each). Per serving – Calories: 79, Fat: 0.4 g, Carbohydrates: 16 g, Protein: 5 g
